Time & Attendance
Our aim is to ensure there is as much flexibility as possible around working hours. One thing counts and that is that all employees adhere to their committed schedules and to come to work in an energetic and enthusiastic manner, ready for the day ahead.
The official working hours is 9 hours daily, including a one hour lunch break. All full-time employees must serve at least 40 hours per week.
If the department decides not to implement a flexible working time policy the employee is expected to arrive on time. We expect all employees to be in our office locations by 10.15am latest, failure to do so on repeated occasions may result in a disciplinary action.
We understand that the unexpected may happen, if there is an urgent issue or personal need the employee should inform their Line Manager & the People Team as soon as possible.
Should an employee need to attend to a personal matter during Fasset working hours, they can request this from their Line Manager & the People Team.
Prayer times are a defined right to all Muslims employees. However, Muslim who pray must commence back to their duties' as soon as the prayers are finished.
Nursing mothers should take an hour from the working day for up to 18 months from the date of delivery to breastfeed their child. Breastfeeding hours may be taken any time during the duty hours as per the agreement with the line manager. Breastfeeding hours are applicable in Ramadan too.
For repeated instances of absence without authorised leave from Line Managers & the People Team or with no explanation for such absence may result in the employee being liable for Disciplinary Action.
Please note: for remote employees and employees who work from home it is a mandatory company policy to keep your cameras switched on during all virtual online meetings.
During Ramadan, the working day should be 6 hours for all employees.
All Non-Muslim/Non Fasting employees have to respect the month of Ramadan and their fellow colleagues who are fasting during Ramadan. They are advised that eating, drinking and smoking in any public space is not allowed according to the UAE law. Special rooms shall be assigned for employees who are not fasting to take their meals.
Alcohol & Smoking Onsite
We have implemented alcohol and controlled substance free workplace policy. Bringing or consumption of alcohol or controlled substances on business premises during or after the working hours is strictly prohibited.
Fasset is devoted to enhancing the atmosphere at work place and to contribute to the well-being and health of all employees, smoking shall strictly be prohibited within the office premises, and this includes all electronic cigarettes.
Business Travel
Fasset may require certain employees to travel to various other locations, please see below the company's policy on reimbursable expenses, including allowable expenses, spending limits, and the process for submitting expense reports.
All receipts should be submitted to the Finance team.
Meals
Employees are reimbursed for meal expenses during business trips. Meals are also reimbursed for essential business meetings with personnel outside of Fasset. Meetings must have a clear purpose and must directly apply to business. The amount is limited to the appropriate category as determined below. This is applicable to all levels of Staff and Management:

Expenses that are submitted more than 90 days from the last date of travel or expense
All types of club memberships
Traffic tickets or fines
Toiletries, cosmetics medication, clothing, and other personal items
Car washes for personal or Company car and valet car service
Food and drink taken from in-room mini-bar.
In-room hotel movies or other additional services
All types of club’s memberships
Spouse-related or family-related expenses.
Leaving Fasset
Although we will be sad to see you leave, there are certain responsibilities which every employee has when he/she decides to leave Fasset. After leaving Fasset the employee has to maintain the confidentiality of information of our company and the information related to those individuals or companies that have business with Fasset, information of any kind cannot be disclosed to any other business or any media house under any circumstances. In case of any violation due to disclosure of any information Fasset will be at liberty to take recourse to legal action against the individual.
